Heartland Honor Flight on July 8th carried veterans from across Nebraska to Washington DC for the day. The goal of Heartland Honor Flight is to give every Nebraska WWII veteran who wants to visit the Memorial, dedicated in 2004, an opportunity to go at no cost to them.
